Hotelscene and BT win ‘Corporate Travel Management Team’ award at the prestigious Business Travel World Awards

Held each year at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Park Lane, the Business Travel World Awards are recognised as the UK’s most prestigious Corporate Travel event, with the Corporate Travel Management Team award rated as “the one to win”.

The BT-Hotelscene partnership scooped the 2009 award in front of 1,000 travel industry leaders.

The judges said the following of Hotelscene and BT:

“[BT] could have consolidated all travel management to one supplier. But the corporate retained its specialist provider, and the two are now a textbook case of what makes a real functioning and enduring team. In the view of the judges this team has continually driven innovation and improvement and sets and industry standard.”

At a time when strong travel management has never been more important to corporate organisations, this award is great recognition for Hotelscene’s hugely successful relationship with BT. Historically, the award has been won by Travel Management Companies and their clients. This is the first time that victory has gone to a partnership between a corporate and a specialist, to confirm Hotelscene’s leading position as both innovators and corporate travel specialists.
